We had open Youth Group Open Sunday
Chris Yip intends to hav it once a mth
tho will disrupt SS lessons its gd to com tog as a group to foster our identity
I do agree.He admonished us to guard our hearts and not clutter it (Prov 4:23) Pursuit of materialism or o/r passions can rob us of time for God's purpose for us
Grateful to Yau Seng for preachg thgs straight fr e heart without any icing or deco or soften e msg. Part 2 of Judges 1&2.
Disobedience of Isrlites:-failure to listen to God's wisdom to destroy the Israelites 100%.they compromise n becam master n slaves, accomodatg Canaanites as co tenants,mimic their pagan practices, becom as evil as their enemies.
Finally to top it all intermarry with idol worshippers.
God was angry n punished them severely.
For us
Al these translate into tragedy Jg2:10 if we fail to heed God's warning.If we continue to disobey him we allow compromises in our Christian standards(tv bks jokes office ethics), we accomodate all kinds of idols in our lives we hav a price to pay......pity the nex generatn.........
A stern warng on being unequally yoked. Its spiritual suicide.
Result : Spiritual Decline Spiritual rot
Our Generatn mus heed God's Warng n purge r hearts n r lives of pagan influences
lest we be answerable to a Whole Generatn after us being -Lost
Conclusion : When ONE GEN fails in will HIT the NEXT GEN for sure
God has spoken. The Bible is e plumbline an absolute std.
