Hi Debbie.. glad to know that u are fine (from your tag).. wanted to call you but your bro told me not to. He was like, " Don't call la.. people sick, imagine have to get out of bed to answer the phone." I said, " That's why I asked you right.. wanted to know if she's well enough to get out of bed." He, "Oh... ok. thanks." I know I told you that I would update you about what we learnt.. sorry that it took so long..
It was quite fun.. we had 3 people who had "bloody" right ear, right thumb and right food. Muah.. ha ha ha...Ya.. we went through what the ordination of priest was about.. (the rest of you out that, correct me if I'm wrong). Lessons learnt, we have to be righteous before God and has to be holy.. Now, the reasons for the bloodiness, blood had to be put on the ear to remind the priests to listen to God - to develop the skill of picking up God's voice.. Dr Untip told us that the thumb is the most important of our hand.. by putting blood on our hand, it means we need God when we're doing the work of God.. If someone were to walk without the big toe, the stability of his walk will be affected, thus, putting blood on the big toe reminds us that we have to walk with God.. Yup.. this is the summary of our lesson!!
I was really inspired to paint my thumb.. but didn't do that.. however, when I'm faced with a difficult situation at work, I'll remember this principal.. Yesterday, when I was trying to make the most difficult boy at work sleep, I prayed for him cos I know that only God can help.. I consider my work the work of God.
Speaking of walk with God, my cell group is doing a study on that.. One of the questions that we had to answer in the study is this, " Why do I walk?"
a) For something to do
b) Everyone tells me to.
c) Otherwise I'll feel guilty.
d) Because I love God so much.
e) For some other reason.
I chose e. Have always known and felt that I must honour him for all that He has done. I just know that I have to, it's not a choice. It has just become a part of me.. Is it wrong??? Everyone, please help...
