'Men who had been with Jesus'Peter and John were bold and eloquent before the Jewish Council.
They confidently proclaimed that the powerful name of
Jesus Christ heals and gives salvation.
The elders and teachers of religious law were amazed
by these unschooled untrained and uncouth fishermen who sold niang tofu
Everybody knew they had no special training in the Scriptures previously.
Aha!! But the Jewish Council and teachers, they-not-stupid
They recognised that these men had been with Jesus.
Kel sums this up as
"Ordinary people doing extraordinary things." So can we.
Do people recognise that you have been with Jesus?
Peter empowered by the Holy Spirit
Testified that Jesus is Saviour
Performed miracles in Jesus'name
Giving all glory to God
Peter fulfilled God's purpose by his obedience unto Christ
Facilitator Hui Shian promptly asked us this thought provoking question:-
Are we fulfilling the purpose God has for us?You can read the last words from Moses to the Israelites before he died.
He urged them to choose between life and death, between blessings and curses.
Blessings for obedience Deut28:1 and on
Curses for disobedience Deut28:15 and on
He exhorted them to Choose Life, so that you and your descendants might live!Deut30:19
Sounds like an easy enough option for all
But even so it has been a great struggle for many to - Choose Life.
God has given us
distinctive character traitsI hope to be accurate, to capture what we perceived as our unique character traits

It will be a pity if I fail to journal this

All that the Lord have created in us will come to nought if it is not used for His purpose
Really blessed to get to know each other better
Did I mention that Kel and Diana turned wicked stepsisters
for the sole purpose of spicing up this segment. These two sure found their purpose
and calling for the day.
