Hi Everyone!!!
Had this urge to blog on our blog.. just to share some thoughts...if you know me, it means a long post to read.. Ha Ha!
Have really enjoyed myself during the holidays. What made it happiest was getting to know all of you better. Let me think.. first event of the hols.. Bible Trail!! Ya, I know not many of you were super excited about it. Nevertheless, I'm glad that those who attended brought home some thoughts and things that we learnt. Now that school has started and we are not surrounded by as many christians, life's going to be more challenging. I'll like to challenge all of you once again to remember the commitments we made and to CHECK YOUR BUDDIES OUT (Oops, I don't mean the bad way.. if you know what I mean).
Movie marathon - Congratulations to all of us who made it through Ten Commandments!!! Longest movie I've ever watched but also the one with most breaks in between. Hope all of us got to understand more about life in OT days.. I certainly did. Guess we also learnt a lot about sharing that night.. cos all of us shared our flu bug!!! Ha Ha.. 3 movies.. quite a record isn't it? We can probably try to break that during the next hols (subject to parental approval).
Who can forget the games that Untip introduced? !!!! We should really try with long pants and long sleeves in future ( the string game la)..
June 15 Children picnic - Want to thank those of you who participated in it. Hope you gotta experience the joy of serving. Know something? The day before the picnic, I was very excited!! That's because our girls are GROWING!! (I'm very sure that all of you are really responsible in terms of service... ignore what others say about you ok?). I was even more excited than the first time that I started serving!! All of you did so well!! Aunty Lee Choo was full of praise for you!
I think all of you agree that we had most fun "dirtying" each other with whipped cream... I'm sure this year is Nette's most unforgettable birthday!!
Chalet!! - Really glad that most of you came.. everyone except Hui Shien, Debbie and Untip came? Think it was bonus that Eunice could come and Wenxin and Vic could stay!!! Was really thankful that all of you were fit for school despite the late nights and aches that we had after cycling. Christina was really encouraged by all of you. I was also very encouraged by all of you... particularly when all of you were very concerned when Bel was in pain and all the encouragements that you wrote for each other.. This reminds me that all of you still owe the titbits fund some money... Mu..ah..ha.! Can't help mentioning this .. thought it was really sweet that Bel's bro piggybacked her..
Was just thinking.. some of us acheived more obvious things during the hols..
