Hi Kel... your beloved ever-supportive friend is here. Though I'm probably the person you know best in the group, I'll still give you my prayer requests. Firstly, wisdom to handle difficult situations in my life and love for people around me.
To all of you, just to share a bit of all that has happened over the week. Know? It's not always easy handling difficult situations. Things do go wrong in our hands. Just want to share a struggle. Things haven't exactly been good at home. There has been more difficult times lately and I haven't been handling them well. I chose to run away from them and hoped that they will just disappear or improve. Maybe I'm tired?? I know that I can " Take it to the Lord". That's a consolation but is this all? "Love is patient and kind... If I have not charity, if love does not flow from me, I have nothing..." really feel that I have nothing now. Do all of you have problems with love? Particularly for people who are so difficult to love?

3 ChEERS for DNA!
for being observant
for sharing her thots generously
kinda of useful for us to know where ea of our strengths lie
i took away A lesson on Sunday-
when there's work to do
God does not need us to 'help' Him in e task
He is able
He's jus loving us by giving us a chance to better ourselves
if we accept the responsibility
and trust Him to see us to completion
it is a step forward for personal growth
i must keep watch
put on spiritual Calories
become Fat
not be stunted
malnourished
the teaching of dis world
is so different from our Father's world
i was touched last Sunday
@4:07 AM
Shocked all of you? Probably not since we were talking about it on Sunday..that is, if we are of the same wavelength where fats is concerned.
Was just thinking about the fats that each of us as individuals have to offer:
Debbie - Creativity. You are really talented in terms of art and drawing. So many things you can do with it.. use it for object lessons for children ministry, design cards (which you did for last year's carolling invitation).
Jeanette - Intelligence and Diligence. You have the ability of understanding things quickly and are hardworking. If you were to put them in good use in studying scriptures and pray for the Holy Spirit's guidance, it will not only benefit yourself, it will also benefit those you teach or hang around with. More importantly, God will be so pleased...
Victoria - Responsibility. Just thought you had this from our discussion meetings for children ministry. You also study hard because of your responsibility as a student and don't recall you having problems with your parents because of irresponsibility. You may use it with regards to being responsible as God's child.
Angela - Service. Have worked with you and spent some time with you during retreats. Glad to always see you helping around, whether big or small things.... like helping out in chalet cleaning, clearing rubbish after SS, leading the children in our treasure hunt at West Coast. Good to see you helping your mum occasionally for children library.
Annabel - No temper. Think the most obvious thing about you is that you do not have a temper. Continue to use it as a good testimony of God. Think of using it more by helping others and being a peacemaker everywhere you go?
Anneliese - Sweet singing voice. Well, if you are not able to use your voice to serve in exaltation ministry, you can always use it somewhere else. Eg, children ministry, open sundays, back-up singing in youth camps or even being a worship leader. As long as you are willing to let God use you, there will definitely be a place where you can serve HIm with what He has given you.
Audrey - Initiative. You are always offering help when you see that it's needed and are enthusiastic about events in church. Continue to let God use you in this area not only in church but also in school, so that you can be a testimony to others.
Eunice - Caring. Glad to hear you share about serving in Open Sundays. Have always been touched by your little gestures of caring for others. With your love for reading, continue to read more and share with us about the things you learn about God.
Huishien - Good memory. That's the thing that struck me when you managed to come up 2nd in our 1st Scripture memory though the 6 verse were new to you. Use your memory in remembering God's words and principles. I'm sure they are and will be of good use to you. Come to Sunday School more though.. We miss your presence.
Hmm... you must be thinking, "Wa.. diana think for us then we can use it to share during SS next week" but... BAD NEWS!! You CANNOT share about the fats that I've written. Think of your own. Those that I've listed are merely based on the little I know about you..You know yourself best right? So come prepared to share on Sunday...
MUAH... HA... HA... HA...

Was encouraged by all who shared today during SS. Yup.. as promised, I'm sharing about my theory of christian Men. Let me know what all of you think ok? Whether you agree or not. Actually, I posted it on my cell group blog but didn't really get much comments. So.. I'm depending on you girls now.
Was just wondering.. if a man ( Adults, young adults & youths) is meditative during worship but 90% of the time, the moment message starts, he switches off and sleeps ( because he says that it's boring), he may not be a man after God's heart. Or he may not love God as much as he thinks. Why do I say so?
See.. if we really love someone, won't we want to listen to all that the person has to say? (whether boring or not). Now, I know some people will say, "Cos I had a late night." If you love someone and has a very important appointment with him/her, won't you want to be in the best condition? When I look at people like Uncle Bee Keong, Uncle Gerald, Uncle Johnny, Uncle Meng Chung, Uncle Chee Meng and a lot of the leaders (and of course Uncle Dick too), they would always be copying notes or listening attentively. It re-affirms my theory.
Hmm... do you agree? Hey, don't start looking around at guys during message cos YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE LISTENING AS WELL. So.. pick the right guys ok? Of course, we must also check ourselves and make sure that we are people after God's heart.
Will think of other issues that we can "talk about" for the next few weeks.

Hi all!!! Yup, gotta agree with Angela that this blog's quite dead. Let's spice it up!!!
Really encouraged that all of you prepared your work and Vic and Nette actually "discussed" an issue in class. Hope to see the whole class "arguing" soon.
Have been thinking of many things.. free wa.. nothing to do. Many times, we think that God imposes so many rules on us to control us. That's probably because humanly, when we see our parents putting rules in our lives, we think they are control freaks. But if we were to take time to think through those rules, we'll probably be able to see that they are meant to protect us (though many times we wish they know that we CAN protect ourselves). If our parents do not want us to talk on the phone too much, it's because they want us to spend our time more productively - for eg, reading the Bible, studying, (Gotta admit that parents think that we are gossiping or having senseless conversations when we talk on the phone). Well, perhaps letting them know what we're talking about will help??? If they do not want us to take part in too many "church activities", it's because they are afraid that we may be too tired due to insufficient rest? If they want us to reach home early, it's because they're worried that something may happen to us (After all, we are BEAUTIFUL and ATTRACTIVE girls). No matter how we feel abt human rules, let's not rationalize God's rules and commands. He's definitely not a control freak.
