We all dream a little about being "treated like a princess" Hollywood style
How wonderful it would be to be cherished and to be taken care of all the time
by someone who has eyes only for you. People in love wear blinkers derrr.
We always have a deep deep hole in our hearts awaiting Prince Golly to come fill it.

In-Christ I can be the Rt Woman
God's prescription for a genuine love & lasting relation has to be this-
we become the right woman first not seeking the right man continuously
The author laments "Loving isn't easy. You and I simply don't have the power to always forgive or be consistently kind. We don't have the power to love this way unless we are so filled with God's love that we recognise that our deepest needs have been met,and we are no longer expecting another human being to complete us"
In-Christ I can be a Whole and Healthy Woman
We have to first grasp how blessed, significant, dearly loved and valuable we are In-Christ. We are the objects of God's infinite and unconditional love. WOW!
God's love is boundless. Freely forgiven freely give.
We have the capacity to be genuine givers, forgeting forgivers and languishing lovers
We gota first do the hard work of being a woman with full identity secured and strong in Christ. We can achieve this if we rely on spiritual power
Glory, Glory, Hallelujah.
If a guy can love his gal with an outpouring of the love of Christ which is in him
this would be the ultimate divine formula that God wants in our love life. I won't pretend to understand God's love for us, I don't.
But I can imagine a fountain that overflows. The spring water keeps gushing and replenishing cleansing fulfilling lovingly nourishing & satisfying my soul.
Have you ever been electrocuted? I have. 2 times. While fixing Christmas tree lights.
Falling in love is like a great surge of electrical leak that slammed you. WHAM !
Suddenly you can't walk straight (because of all the detours to get a glimpse of that guy)You can't think at all (not that you want to start now without your head)
Are you ready to hear the truth?
By virtue of the fact that the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church Eph5:23 and Eph5:25 teaching husbands, to love their wives just as Christ loved the church, this love relationship cannot be fostered with a guy who is not in-Christ. Period. Kel said it is just not possible with a non Christian. No Fountain. Cannot even run dry.
Dearest Diana
We really ought to look out for one another ya! Especially for brothers who have gone astray. Your kind compassionate heart felt a pang of sadness for a brother-in-Christ who is a stranger to you, when he fell for a non believer girl friend of yours. Thank you for your loving concern and caution to us because you have seen too many egs.of angels felled this way.
Another pitfall you and Kel pointed out. We let our guard down once we note that our object of desire is labelled a Christian. It's dangerous to pursue a relationship based on infatuation. Whatmore a guy who has lustful agenda may turn out to be a relational nightmare,so warns the author.
Excuses Excuses
As we move onto poly uni institutions of highter learning work place stations in life
there are temptations to give in to non Christian relationships. We try to justify and spiritualise our special situations as we venture down the slippery road of intimate friendship. We harbour hopes perhaps of a non believing spouse coming to Christ eventually
We imagine we must be the exception to the rule. Saul had plenty of excuses for his disobedience. But the real issue Samuel said was "You have not kept the command the Lord your God gave you." ISam 13:13
God forgives restores and blesses only when we are honest with our actions.
God chose to pour a lovely reminder into your heart Kel with this refrain

Touching words out of the mouths of babes. A group of professional people posed this
question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds, 'What does 'love' mean?'
The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined.
'When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her
