"Do not love this world nor the things it offers you,
for when you love the world,
you do not have the love of the Father in you.
For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure,
a craving for everything we see,
and pride in our achievements and possessions.
These are not from the Father,
but are from this world.
And this world is fading away,
along with everything that people crave.
But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever."
My thots aft Pastor's sermon.
As i do some soul searching
I am perplexed by how much the world has gotten onto me
the world's fumes just hang in the air and clings on to whoever it permeates
i hate how i smell when i get out from a poorly ventilated food-court
its in my hair,my clothes and underwear and even in my nostrils.
Can't get rid of it till after a bath and shampoo.
I smell bad
I must go confess my smelly sins every day
or it will be most offensive to God when i meet Him
cos I need to meet Him
I can't live without Him
People fail me
I fail myself
Ah lao is mortal
So who will love me forever and ever
I bet you God will.
Thank God He loves me.
And I will pass on this love to you my dearies.

My ah lao asked me how did the YF go.
My ans was if i were a youth i'll definitely come back
for more fellowship.
i came to be refreshed n to give my support to Chris
Chris u were faultless and not long winded.
your format is antidote for sleepy heads like joel

you had some classics slip-ups. any prizes for detecting?

i also thank the young adults for their love for us
giving up precious time, blazing the way
for the future of YF
i felt a sense of comfort
when i see Him touch my ex-'class monitor'
as we worshiped in song
i dont know what transpired betw him and God
but i truly desire this for each of you
and if i may add my own sons too.
TO BE TOUCHED by GOD.To realise how blessed and lowly we are.
O that we may have a sincere heart to love and fear God
because God is awesome.
This is the Lord's reassurance perhaps
that He is with us when we truly want to honour Him.
i write to mark this day as a memorial that God did speak
to one of our young people today.
