Times Of Your Life Artist: Paul Anka
Good morning, yesterday
You wake up and time has slipped away
And suddenly it's hard to find
The memories you left behind
Remember, do you remember?
The laughter and the tears
The shadows of misty yesteryears
The good times and the bad you've seen
And all the others in between
Remember, do you remember
The times of your life?
Reach out for the joy and the sorrow
Put them away in your mind
The mem'ries are time that you borrow
To spend when you get to tomorrow
Here comes the setting sun
The seasons are passing one by one
So gather moments while you may
Collect the dreams you dream today
Remember, will you remember
The times of your life?

Dedicated to the 3 cookies we all love very thoroughly
Annabel& Audrey Victoria. Thanks for sharing God's goodness in your life with usOur First Sparker SS for the Sparkerling New Year.
Give glory to God. We are eager to increase in our knowledge of the Word.
We harbour a desire in our hearts to read the Bible chronologically and consistently
Thank you for genuine participation and openess borne out of love and trust for each other.
Last year we were inspired to sow and reap.
The Love of the Lord fueled and inspired us.
This year let us be motivated by the Fear of the Lord.My heart leapt for joy with the Lord's gentle response to my prayer
Uncle Yau Seng in his sermon defined for us 'the fear of the Lord' is
the reverence and obedience of God leading to trust.
YES! May the Fear of the Lord motivate us to change and be inwardly transformed for the Lord.
May our icy attitutes thaw
May our stiff necks be tenderised
May our hardened hearts soften up
May angry expressions be measured
May uncouth phrases be junked
Here's the song that touched many today
Gracious and Holy Father
Imbibe in your beloved Sparker children this truth
Holy Spirit bring it to our conscious mind each day
In the sweet sweet name of Jesus I pray
I Know Who Holds Tomorrow
I don't know about tomorrow;
I just live from day to day.
I don't borrow from its sunshine
For its skies may turn to grey.
I don't worry o'er the future,
For I know what Jesus said.
And today I'll walk beside Him,
For He knows what is ahead.
Many things about tomorrow
I don't seem to understand
But I know who holds tomorrow
And I know who holds my hand.
Every step is getting brighter
As the golden stairs I climb;
Every burden's getting lighter,
Every cloud is silver-lined.
There the sun is always shining,
There no tear will dim the eye;
At the ending of the rainbow
Where the mountains touch the sky.
I don't know about tomorrow;
It may bring me poverty.
But the one who feeds the sparrow,
Is the one who stands by me.
And the path that is my portion
May be through the flame or flood;
But His presence goes before me
And I'm covered with His blood.I cannot stop loving Sparkers. Yeh

A Desire for Sparkers It is a ritual with me to begin each year
Reading Proverbs 31 praying I will adhere
Hoping God's wisdom seep into the crucible of my everyday life
Wise words for all women, not just for wives
May God guide Sparkers in life's situations
Choosing right responses through our meditations
Little Women written by King Lemuel Proverbs 31:10 (NLT) 10 [b]Who can find a virtuous and capable wife?
She is more precious than rubies.
11 Her husband can trust her,
and she will greatly enrich his life.
12 She brings him good, not harm,
all the days of her life.
13 She finds wool and flax
and busily spins it.
14 She is like a merchant’s ship,
bringing her food from afar.
15 She gets up before dawn to prepare breakfast for her household
and plan the day’s work for her servant girls.
16 She goes to inspect a field and buys it;
with her earnings she plants a vineyard.
17 She is energetic and strong,
a hard worker.
18 She makes sure her dealings are profitable;
her lamp burns late into the night.
19 Her hands are busy spinning thread,
her fingers twisting fiber.
20 She extends a helping hand to the poor
and opens her arms to the needy.
21 She has no fear of winter for her household,
for everyone has warm[c] clothes.
22 She makes her own bedspreads.
She dresses in fine linen and purple gowns.
23 Her husband is well known at the city gates,
where he sits with the other civic leaders.
24 She makes belted linen garments
and sashes to sell to the merchants.
25 She is clothed with strength and dignity,
and she laughs without fear of the future.
26 When she speaks, her words are wise,
and she gives instructions with kindness.
27 She carefully watches everything in her household
and suffers nothing from laziness.
28 Her children stand and bless her.
Her husband praises her:
29 “There are many virtuous and capable women in the world,
but you surpass them all!”
30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last;
but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.
31 Reward her for all she has done.
Let her deeds publicly declare her praise.A Spiritually mature womanIn the home she is
a trusted companion, she enriches lives
a tireless caregiver of the household
a hands-on organiser
energetic strong industrious
a shrewd shopper
Ouside the home she is a astute businesswoman
strength & dignity adorning her conduct
kindness & wisdom accompanying her speech
fear of the Lord motivating her behaviour
She is not lazy
She is resourceful and compassionate
She is a gem, a treasure to her family
If I were to personalise it, like Ah Beng says 'paraphrase'It will go like this
I'll say she's one hot woman
Excuse my language darling. Its very tame already. ( I dint say hotbabe)
She's hot because she's on fire for the Lord
I wanna be like her.
I want to be approved by God not man
Very sian to seek approval from people don't you think.
Every now and then try to get attention affirmation
So I have this role model in the Bible
I am one blessed soul who's seeking God's approval
Never mind if you all question my sanity
I might be crazy to you but not to me
I am happy happy in the Lord.
