Recap events 2007
1.We started the year with CNY07 dinner at Harbour Pavillion
2.We aspired to become
Women of God for the new year
a.We studied
Eve = the mother of life in March 07 Do You remember God's original design and intention for women? Ya. His intention is first and foremost for man to worship and obey Him. To be spiritually joined with Him as our Maker.His plan is for us be one flesh in a harmonious permanent partnership of marriage.Sexual union is beautiful. Childbirth is a blessing. The fall changed all that.
b.Noah = A righteous blameless man who walked with God. This guy took a lot of peer pressure.He obeyed and saved up for the rainy days.
c.
Sarah means princess. We learned meekness from this lady. She loved her man, was committed to him and submissive to the extent of deception. God blessed her as the mother of nations. IPeter3:6 We are daughters of Sarah. How do you emulate her co-operation with God to change her? How do we bend our strong wills to God's desire? Woman, read 1Peter3 if you want to be beautiful to your man permanently.
d.Joseph did not let bad times shape him.He kept doing what was right. His positive response to setbacks is to move forward.
e.Moses was a wimp. He said he was capable of nothing. God said I am.....everything.
From Beginning to the End.

Deborah was appointed as Israel's judge by God.Like Mulan,she was a warrior too. She realised God's power behind her and the strength given to her as she went to war. Barak's reluctance and disobedience resulted in victory and honour accorded to a woman called Jael.
g.God brought great blessings out of Naomi's tragedy. Ruth's life demonstrates godly characteristics of love,faithfulness and obedience. Boaz and Ruth became the blessed ancestors of Christ.
h.We are currently studying a story of 'great cover-up' of adultery and immorality.
David's sins multiplied because he did not walk away from temptation. Well Diana will have you know that David's problem started with him idling on the roof top.
A little bird told me that poor design of roof-top palaces adjacent to bathrooms for ladies were to blame. That too. It took like one year to do only half of Great People of the Bible by Fisherman Series. SS has been a memorable time of studying God's Word and sharing ourselves with one another.

6.5Dec to 8Dec2007 was our O-SO-Happening
Youth Camp.Rich details best read on Annabel's Blog. What we took back from the camp were memories cast in mosaic!
7.Christmas Eve carolling at
Grace Haven Salvation Army Home was a meaningful blessed time with delightfully affectionate children. You are Special... sweeties!
8.Christmas on different strings with Mr
Alvaro Sanchez. It was a real treat. I love his guitar and harp. Feliz Navidad.
9.We also benefitted from the monthly
Saturday Youth Fellowship Meetings faithfully planned by Mei Heng and the YF com. We appreciate you. Diana knows all the themes/topics we had throughout 07. Sorry, I don't.
10. 29Dec2007 Of course we ended the year with a grand
Youth Prom 07. The gals and guys came in their best. Memories are made of these.
So much for last year and i m now seeing double cos it's 2.30 am.
