let me tell u a secret..
ive been here many many times, typed some stuff on our sparkers blog and ended up not completing it and posting.
Dunno why i cant seem to type something in full and post. Today is the day that i MAKE SURE I POST!
Glad to have Debbie back with us today. Debbie, hope u recover in full soon! Then u can be our star player again. right girls?
Im quite happy now. My mom was feeling v giddy today and she told my dad to hold the phone so that if there was an emergency, he cld have quick access to the phone and call for help fast.( cos my dad cant walk fast)
My dad was very worried and he prayed aloud for my mom. (mom's better now;o))
Wonderful isnt it?
Praise God! I guess there are lessons that we can learn from new christians. They think of God first, and know how powerful he is to solve life's biggest, and simplest problems.
Let's all try to think of God first this week.
He is strong enough to strengthen u during your toughest hours. This is especially for u victoria. I know you want to do well for your chinese O levels. Remember that God is with you every step of the way. Offer your hard work and efforts into his hands.
And for Diana, rascals can test our patience sometimes. But with every test comes a chance to grow. And i pray that God will use this time to teach u love, patience and gentleness. You are already all these but i guess we can never have enough! This kind of thing can be greedy one...heh heh heh
Ive got another tough school week ahead. But i really hope that i can give God my time and not lose sight of him.

Hi Debbie.. glad to know that u are fine (from your tag).. wanted to call you but your bro told me not to. He was like, " Don't call la.. people sick, imagine have to get out of bed to answer the phone." I said, " That's why I asked you right.. wanted to know if she's well enough to get out of bed." He, "Oh... ok. thanks." I know I told you that I would update you about what we learnt.. sorry that it took so long..
It was quite fun.. we had 3 people who had "bloody" right ear, right thumb and right food. Muah.. ha ha ha...Ya.. we went through what the ordination of priest was about.. (the rest of you out that, correct me if I'm wrong). Lessons learnt, we have to be righteous before God and has to be holy.. Now, the reasons for the bloodiness, blood had to be put on the ear to remind the priests to listen to God - to develop the skill of picking up God's voice.. Dr Untip told us that the thumb is the most important of our hand.. by putting blood on our hand, it means we need God when we're doing the work of God.. If someone were to walk without the big toe, the stability of his walk will be affected, thus, putting blood on the big toe reminds us that we have to walk with God.. Yup.. this is the summary of our lesson!!
I was really inspired to paint my thumb.. but didn't do that.. however, when I'm faced with a difficult situation at work, I'll remember this principal.. Yesterday, when I was trying to make the most difficult boy at work sleep, I prayed for him cos I know that only God can help.. I consider my work the work of God.
Speaking of walk with God, my cell group is doing a study on that.. One of the questions that we had to answer in the study is this, " Why do I walk?"
a) For something to do
b) Everyone tells me to.
c) Otherwise I'll feel guilty.
d) Because I love God so much.
e) For some other reason.
I chose e. Have always known and felt that I must honour him for all that He has done. I just know that I have to, it's not a choice. It has just become a part of me.. Is it wrong??? Everyone, please help...

Children ministry will be having a meeting next week and a form will be given out to current children minstry workers for confirmation of service next year. At the same time, those who are interested to serve can also voice out. Anyone interested to serve next year? I am willing to go through with you the preparation for each session monthly, kinda like helping to equip you.. let me know? Also pray about which group you want to serve in..
How's everyone's "Hi 5"? Would like to encourage all of us to make good use of the church's effort in reaching out to our loved ones? Surely the Terror of Hell had motivated us to not let our loved ones suffer for eternity.. Sometimes, when I am not busy, I'll think, " Why do I not reach out to people? Is it because I don't see importance in doing so or I just don't care? Am I being too selfish? Probably I don't have God's love in me.. that's why I don't love others enough to want to save them from hell eternally..." What about you? Do you love your loved ones or friends as much as you think? Another question to think about, do our lives reflect priesthood? Do we live like people worthy of God's choice and belong to him?
